HSE Engineer – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Position: HSE Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for a qualified and motivated HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with experience in oil & gas and construction projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (any engineering discipline)
- Minimum 3 years of overall HSE experience
- 1–2 years of GCC experience is required
- Experience in Oil & Gas and/or Construction projects is preferred
- Valid NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory
- Additional HSE certifications (IOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety, OSHA, H2S, Confined Space, Working at Height, etc.) will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper implementation of permit-to-work systems and emergency procedures.
- Maintain HSE documentation and records.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across project sites.
