Job Title: Geotechnical Helper
Job Description:
A Geotechnical Helper assists geotechnical engineers, technicians, and drilling crews in carrying out site investigations and soil testing activities. The role involves supporting field operations, handling equipment and materials, collecting soil and rock samples, and ensuring the worksite is clean, organized, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in soil investigation, drilling, and sampling activities.
- Prepare, load, unload, and maintain geotechnical equipment and tools.
- Collect, label, and transport soil and rock samples as instructed.
- Support geotechnical technicians during field testing and data collection.
- Keep the work area clean and ensure equipment is properly stored after use.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures on site.
- Assist with site setup and demobilization.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction, drilling, or geotechnical fieldwork is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices and willingness to comply with company procedures.
Pay: From AED2,000.00 per month
