About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health Program Managerto lead the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of strategic health programs and public health initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end program delivery, engaging key stakeholders, overseeing program governance, managing budgets and risks, and ensuring health programs are aligned with national health priorities and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, implementation, and evaluation of health programs and initiatives.
- Develop and execute health program strategies aligned with organizational and national healthcare priorities.
- Build, engage, and manage relationships with healthcare organizations, government entities, international agencies, and private sector partners.
- Develop program frameworks, KPIs, monitoring tools, and evaluation methodologies to measure program effectiveness.
- Conduct research, environmental scanning, and stakeholder consultations to identify emerging healthcare needs and opportunities.
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and financial performance.
- Monitor program implementation through regular coordination, data analysis, performance reviews, and reporting activities.
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of objectives.
- Organize and facilitate health program meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagements, and governance committee meetings.
- Develop and deliver health education, awareness, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Healthcare Management, Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent program management certification is preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing health programs, healthcare portfolios, public health initiatives, or healthcare transformation projects.
- Experience working with Ministries of Health, Public Health Authorities, healthcare organizations, NGOs, international organizations, or healthcare consulting firms is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, program governance, budget management, and performance monitoring.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Public Health, Population Health, Healthcare Systems, and Health Policy.
- Expertise in Program Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation.
- Strong Stakeholder and Partnership Management skills.
- Experience in Strategic Planning and Health Program Development
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation capabilities.
- Budget Planning and Financial Management skills.
- Excellent Research, Analytical, and Problem-Solving skills.
- Strong Report Writing, Presentation, and Communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with public health communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is highly preferred.
