Position Overview
We are seeking a personable and health-conscious Gym Bartender to join our fitness center team. The ideal candidate will combine professional beverage preparation skills with a deep understanding of nutrition and wellness, creating a supportive and energizing environment for our gym members.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of healthy beverages, including protein shakes, smoothies, fresh juices, and wellness shots
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in the beverage preparation area
Provide nutrition advice and recommend beverages that support members’ fitness goals
Operate and maintain professional-grade blending and juicing equipment
Process payments and manage cash register transactions
Stock and inventory beverage ingredients and supplies
Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed
Provide exceptional customer service to gym members
Collaborate with fitness trainers and nutritionists to understand member wellness objectives

Minimal customer complaints
Positive feedback from gym members
Operational Efficiency
Accuracy in beverage preparation
Speed of service (average preparation time under 3 minutes)

Achievement of daily/weekly sales targets
Successful cross-selling of nutrition products

Skills
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in food handling and safety
1-2 years of experience in beverage preparation (cafe, juice bar, or similar setting)
Basic understanding of nutrition and fitness principles
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Technical Skills
Proficient in using commercial blenders, juicers, and point-of-sale systems
Knowledge of various protein supplements and nutritional additives
Understanding of different dietary requirements (vegan, keto, gluten-free, etc.)
Basic math skills for transaction processing
Ability to multitask efficiently
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a gym environment
Good hand-eye coordination
