Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Work Type: In-person
Wage Range: CAD 15.20− CAD16.50/hour
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Front Desk Agents at our location in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments accurately.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
Previous experience in hotel industry is mandatory.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including property management systems (PMS).
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
