General Practitioner – Stroke Medicine -Leading Health Care Facility

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner with an interest in Stroke Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The role involves supporting stroke and neurology teams in the assessment, acute management, and ongoing care of stroke patients in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute neurological and stroke symptoms
• Assist in the initial evaluation and stabilization of stroke cases
• Support thrombolysis pathway coordination under specialist supervision
• Provide inpatient care for post-stroke and rehabilitation patients
• Assist neurology and emergency teams in acute neurological emergencies
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings accurately
• Participate in multidisciplinary stroke team meetings
• Ensure adherence to stroke care protocols and guidelines

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a GP
• Strong interest or exposure to neurology or stroke care
• Experience in emergency or critical care settings is an advantage
• Good clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
