General Manager – Limassol
Our Limassol-based management office is seeking to recruit a General Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director, the successful candidate will work closely with senior management, taking the lead on the company’s processes and procedures. The role involves overseeing corporate secretarial, governance, regulatory, and administrative matters at both the local and client entity levels.
This position requires regular interaction with staff across all levels of the Group, as well as clients, third-party service providers, and advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with company procedures, CySEC regulations, and European law.
Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
Monitor performance using tracking software, prepare detailed reports, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Oversee financial accounts and corporate secretarial transactions.
Manage and monitor corporate calendar activities and deadlines.
Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance across operations.
Maintain the integrity of clients’ governance frameworks and provide guidance on best corporate governance practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients, partners, and senior management.
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in a similar role within the financial sector.
ACA/ACCA qualification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff, management, clients, and third-party service providers.
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
