Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a good understanding of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and maintain proper record.
- Monitor and record company expenses and maintain proper documentation.
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure timely posting in the accounting system i.e QuickBooks.
- Prepare and process staff salaries in a timely manner.
- Manage office petty cash, maintain supporting receipts, and maintain monthly spend records.
- Manage and process monthly office utility bill payments, office rent payments and monitor subscriptions for business tools and platforms.
- Prepare monthly as well as yearly sales and expense record.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Support quarterly VAT return filing and annual Corporate tax filing.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of UAE accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as QuickBooks)
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independentlY.
