Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for our facility in Recife. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brands worldwide, distributing millions of products annually to our loyal customers.
The key focus areas for this role are safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity within your department.
Key responsibilities include:
Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet overall building objectives.
Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor, ensuring efficient shift operations while meeting goals.
Support safety programs and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
Additional responsibilities:
Develop and execute action plans to improve quality, inventory accuracy, and service.
Educate managers and associates on inventory control and quality assurance.
Partner with Operations Managers to communicate policies and ensure compliance.
Supervise inventory control and quality assurance operations, including cycle counts and root cause analysis.
Lead and evaluate associates, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Drive process improvements to support growth and meet deadlines.
This position is based in the Recife region and holds complete responsibility for Inventory Control and Quality Assurance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in employee and performance management.
Bachelor’s degree.
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Advanced English skills.
Experience in Inventory & Quality Assurance Management.
Data-driven and analytical skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
Experience in B2C operations.
Knowledge of lean production and 5S Kaizen methodologies.
