Job Application – Maintenance Foreman
Position: Maintenance Foreman
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Maintenance Foreman to supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and maintenance teams.
- Assign tasks to technicians and workers based on priorities and workload.
- Monitor the progress and quality of maintenance works.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance are completed on time.
- Inspect equipment, facilities, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance systems.
- Identify maintenance problems and provide appropriate solutions.
- Follow up on pending maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with management regarding maintenance requirements and urgent issues.
- Ensure proper use and availability of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Monitor the performance and productivity of maintenance staff.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety rules and company procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports and provide updates to management.
- Train and guide maintenance staff on proper work procedures and safety practices.
- Coordinate with contractors and external service providers when required.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and materials used.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Foreman, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar position.
- Strong technical knowledge of general building and facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general maintenance works.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead a maintenance team.
- Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and maintenance instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to prepare maintenance reports and maintain proper documentation.
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent maintenance requirements.
- Flexible and willing to work according to operational requirements.
- Knowledge of Qatar safety regulations and maintenance standards is an advantage.
