Job Title: Floor Supervisor (Restaurant)
Job Summary
The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent guest service, smooth table service flow, and coordination between service staff and kitchen. This role ensures high service standards, guest satisfaction, and team efficiency during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant floor operations
· Ensure smooth and efficient table service during service periods
· Assign duties and sections to waiters and junior staff
· Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with SOPs
· Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
· Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and readiness of the dining area
· Support training and onboarding of new service staff
· Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely order delivery
· Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and performance during shifts
· Ensure proper closing/opening duties are completed
· Assist in maintaining inventory of service-related items (cutlery, linen, etc.)
Requirements
· Previous experience in a similar role (restaurant or hotel)
· Strong leadership and team supervision skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle guest complaints calmly and effectively
· Good understanding of service standards and hospitality etiquette
· Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
