Fire Protection Engineer Jobs in Al Aqiq, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at Vertex for engineering consultancy
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Saudi Arabia in Fire & Life Safety Engineering.
- Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Strong practical experience in fire protection design, code review, authority approvals, and engineering supervision.
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC), particularly SBC 201 and SBC 801, and extensive familiarity with NFPA standards and requirements.
- Ability to interpret code requirements, reference code sections and clauses, and apply them effectively in engineering design and project execution.
- Experience in preparing design calculations, technical reports, shop drawing reviews, and coordination with relevant authorities.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Life Safety, Smoke Management, and Code Compliance.
- Experience with Civil Defense requirements and project approvals within Saudi Arabia.
- Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
- Note: Preference will be given to candidates possessing advanced and comprehensive knowledge of SBC and NFPA requirements rather than general familiarity with the codes.
