As we continue to grow in Qatar, we are seeking an experienced Finance Supervisor to join our team in Doha and help strengthen our financial operations and controls.
Position Overview
The Finance Supervisor will oversee daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the finance team in maintaining strong internal controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional with leadership ability and a strong understanding of accounting processes and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger activities
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review financial reports and management summaries
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit processes
- Support and mentor junior finance staff to improve performance and efficiency
- Identify process improvements to enhance financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, including supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
