Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting: Formulate corporate budgets, forecast cycles, and dynamic financial models from scratch.
- Analyze variances: Evaluate budget-to-actual financial trends and issue monthly variance reports.
- Support decisions: Conduct feasibility studies and provide capital allocation advice to senior management.
2. Accounting Excellence & Financial Reporting
- Oversee books: Supervise day-to-day general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany accounts.
- Close months: Manage smooth monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.
- Draft statements: Prepare consolidated P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow updates under IFRS.
3. Treasury, Liquidity, & Risk Management [13]
- Control cash: Track corporate treasury accounts and map precise weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Mitigate risks: Manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure and trade finance limits for import/export flows.
- Liaise with banks: Maintain banking relations, handle corporate KYC renewals, and monitor credit lines.
4. Taxation, Audit, & DMCC Compliance [5]
- Manage UAE tax: File accurate quarterly UAE VAT and annual Corporate Tax submissions.
- Coordinate audits: Provide clean ledger schedules to lead swift corporate year-end audits.
- Maintain compliance: Partner with the compliance team to ensure DMCC free-zone trade license validity.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA qualification is heavily preferred.
- Experience: 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Finance Manager capacity within UAE trading or distribution sectors.
- Tax Knowledge: Complete operational command of UAE VAT and corporate tax laws.
- Systems: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience utilizing top ERP systems
