TELE-CONTROL / SCS ENGINEER – SUBSTATION CONTROL SYSTEM

Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Salary & Benefits:
- Option 1: QAR 4,750–5,000 + Accommodation + Transportation + Other Benefits
- Option 2: Full Package QAR 6,000–6,500 + Transportation (Accommodation not included)
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering from a reputed university.
Experience & Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in telecommunications and telecontrol systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of Substation Control Systems (SCS) and telecontrol equipment.
- Experience working with telecontrol systems and equipment installed in Primary and Secondary Substations.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills for telecommunications and control systems.
- Ability to supervise maintenance activities and coordinate technical teams.
- Good understanding of substation communication and control system requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of telecontrol equipment and systems installed in Primary and Secondary Substations.
- Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and fault rectification for telecontrol and SCS equipment.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential failures or operational issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance, electrical, protection, SCADA, and telecommunications teams to resolve system faults.
- Support testing, commissioning, modification, and integration of telecontrol systems.
- Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and applicable standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical reports, and system documentation.
- Supervise technicians and provide technical guidance during maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Support emergency response and restoration activities related to telecontrol and SCS systems.
Pay: QAR6,000.00 – QAR6,500.00 per month
