The Finance Manager is responsible for leading all financial management, planning, and control activities for the manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance while driving profitability and operational efficiency across production, procurement, and supply chain functions.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, managing accounting operations, improving financial controls, and providing strategic insights to support management decision-making.
Educational qualifications : CPA, ACCA ,CMA ,CIMA
Relevant experience industry : Entertainment /Retail only. 10 – 15 years post qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
- Manage the organization’s day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop financial models to support business expansion and investment decisions.
Business Partnering
- Work closely with operational departments to improve profitability.
- Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis.
- Monitor revenue, margins, operating costs, and key financial KPIs.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new business initiatives.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, and UAE financial regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.
- Ensure statutory reporting deadlines are met.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
- Strengthen financial processes and internal controls.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives and process automation.
- Improve reporting accuracy and reduce financial closing timelines.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Allocate work effectively and monitor team performance.
- Foster collaboration across departments.
