Job Summary
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer at our Dubai facility who will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support of HVAC fragrance diffusion systems and standalone fragrance diffusion machines. The role includes conducting site surveys, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating installation projects, managing equipment inventory, supporting operational activities, and travelling within the UAE and internationally to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Installations & Service
- Install, commission, test, and troubleshoot HVAC fragrance diffusion systems at customer sites.
- Install, service, and maintain standalone fragrance diffusion machines.
- Perform preventive maintenance and attend service calls to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all installations comply with company standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct system performance testing and verify proper operation after installation.
- Provide customers with demonstrations and basic operational training following installation.
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
2. Site Surveys & Technical Assessments
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable fragrance diffusion solutions.
- Assess machine quantity, placement, power requirements, ducting, and installation feasibility.
- Prepare comprehensive site survey reports with technical recommendations.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Identify potential installation challenges and recommend practical solutions.
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate installation schedules with customers and internal departments.
- Ensure all required equipment, spare parts, accessories, and documentation are available before installation.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain installation records, commissioning reports, and customer acceptance documents.
- Support project handover and post-installation follow-up activities.
4. Inventory & Logistics
- Manage inventory of fragrance machines, spare parts, tools, and installation materials.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections, and transportation of equipment.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and logistics providers for shipment clearance when required.
- Ensure proper storage, inventory control, and stock documentation.
- Report inventory shortages and coordinate replenishment with the procurement team.
5. Office & Operational Support
- Assist with bank deposits, cash withdrawals, and other operational errands.
- Support administrative activities including trade licence renewals, visa documentation, municipality approvals, and other government-related processes.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and other day-to-day operational requirements as assigned.
- Maintain technical documentation, service reports, and operational records.
6. Travel & Customer Support
- Travel extensively within the UAE and internationally (GCC and other countries) for site surveys, installations, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support.
- Represent the company professionally during customer interactions.
- Provide prompt technical assistance and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, HVAC, or a related technical discipline (preferred).
- Valid UAE Driving Licence (mandatory).
- 3–5 years of experience in field service, technical installations, HVAC systems, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Experience with HVAC systems or fragrance diffusion systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical installations.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently at customer sites.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the UAE and internationally.
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED7,000.00 per month
