Field Engineer/Civil Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Qatar Project Management (QPM)
Field Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for monitoring of Civil Engineering activities at Project Site; to witnessquality assuranceprocedures are being followed and implemented by SC and Main Contractor as per the PMP, and to monitor the project progress as per approved work programme in accordance with QCS and enable QPM to deliver quality Project within the plan and budget.
• Assist Senior Civil Engineer and Construction Manager, On construction activities and reporting works progress,quality controland safety issues observed and corrective and preventive actions taken
• Ensure that construction work complies with QCS and Approved shop drawings and being executed as per approved methodology and materials.
• Review and comment on technical submittals (civil works) such as Procedures, Method Statements, Material Approvals, Shop Drawings, As-built Drawings, etc. as per designated work flows.
• Liaise with Supervision Consultant and the Main Contractor for protection of existing services during active construction period.
• Confer with Supervision Consultant and the Main Contractor to discuss and resolve the matters such as work procedures, complaints and construction problems.
This role requires a degree in Engineering with BSc as a minimum.
