As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced Factory Supervisor to lead our production floor and uphold the standards our clients expect.
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and technically strong Factory Supervisor with 6–10 years of experience in aluminum and façade fabrication to oversee daily production operations and quality control at our Al Quoz facility. This is a senior shop floor leadership role that demands equal focus on maximising fabrication output and maintaining rigorous quality standards across all works. You will be responsible for managing the production team, optimising workflows, and ensuring every component leaving the factory meets specification — on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the aluminum fabrication factory, ensuring production targets are consistently met.
- Lead, direct, and motivate the factory workforce including fabricators, operators, and helpers to maintain productivity and discipline on the shop floor.
- Plan and schedule production workflows to align with project delivery requirements and deadlines in coordination with the project and engineering teams.
- Oversee the fabrication of aluminum profiles, curtain wall components, façade elements, windows, doors, and related architectural systems.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures at every stage of fabrication — cutting, machining, assembly, and finishing.
- Conduct regular inspections of fabricated components against approved shop drawings, tolerances, and specifications before dispatch.
- Monitor and manage raw material consumption, stock levels, and wastage to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure all factory machinery and equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and operated safely.
- Enforce full compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations on the factory floor at all times.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of fabricated materials to project sites.
- Identify production bottlenecks, quality issues, and equipment faults and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Maintain accurate production records, daily output reports, and quality inspection logs for management review.
- Train, upskill, and develop factory staff to continuously raise the standard of fabrication quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in aluminium fabrication or façade manufacturing — with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of aluminum fabrication processes including cutting, CNC machining, crimping, assembly, and glazing bead fitting.
- Hands-on experience with curtain wall, structural glazing, aluminum windows and doors, and façade system fabrication.
- Proven ability to manage a factory team and maintain both production output and quality standards simultaneously.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication details, and technical specifications accurately.
- Solid understanding of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to factory environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple production orders concurrently.
- Experience with factory machinery maintenance and production planning is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English — Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage for team management.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
