Factory Manager – Powder Coating Jobs in Doha at AL IKHTYAAR GERMAN INVESTMENT GROUP
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to lead the daily operations of our Powder Coating Factory in Doha. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of powder coating processes, factory management experience, and a proven background in sales and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing production efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, managing the factory team, and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all daily factory operations, production planning, and workforce scheduling.
- Ensure powder coating production meets quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Supervise production staff, technicians, and supervisors to maximize productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure proper preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales for powder coating services.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Monitor sales performance and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Prepare production, sales, and operational reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a powder coating or metal finishing factory.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the powder coating, aluminum, steel, or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, pretreatment, quality control, and production planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production and sales targets.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
