Job Description:
Al Bakri Aluminum & Glass Cont. is looking for a Mid-Level Facade Designer with 2–3 years of experience in facade drafting to join our team in Sharjah. The candidate should have experience in preparing technical drawings and coordinating with production and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Facade Shop Drawings for aluminum and glass systems.
- Develop cutting lists for fabrication and production.
- Prepare material orders and BOQ based on project requirements.
- Create fabrication drawings for workshop execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, production team, and site engineers.
- Review project specifications and ensure drawings comply with project requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facade drafting.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum and glass facade systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of other drafting software is a plus).
- Experience preparing shop drawings, cutting lists, and fabrication drawings.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and technical details.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in curtain wall, sliding systems, and aluminum facade works.
- Knowledge of material ordering and production coordination.
