Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.
- Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and interpret diagnostic investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
- Develop individualised treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital policies and international healthcare standards.
- Participate in continuous medical education and departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialisation in Neurology.
- Valid specialist certification in Neurology.
- Eligibility for Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) licensing or possession of a valid QCHP license is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation clinical experience in Neurology.
- Excellent diagnostic, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
