Marmi Engineering Co. W.L.L., a premier construction and design firm in Qatar, is seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces that reflect the unique needs and preferences of our clients. With a focus on luxury residential and commercial projects, the Interior Designer will play a key role in the entire design process, from concept development to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional needs, and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and present comprehensive interior design concepts, including mood boards, space plans, and 3D renderings.
Project Management:
- Oversee the design project from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers to execute the design vision seamlessly.
Material and Product Selection:
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that meet the project’s design goals and budgetary considerations.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, products, and technologies to offer clients innovative solutions.
Client Communication:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their satisfaction with the design and execution.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their interior spaces.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare detailed design documents, including drawings and specifications, for construction and installation.
- Ensure that all design elements comply with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a portfolio showcasing completed luxury residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong creative design skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent project management abilities, with experience in managing budgets and schedules.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is preferred.
