Experienced F&B – Purchasing Officer Jobs in Doha at Rich chocolatier
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced F&B Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in procurement, particularly in import and export operations, supplier management, and cost optimization within the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies
- Handle import/export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure timely availability of materials
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Qatar regulations related to procurement and import/export
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B industry
- Strong experience in import and export procedures
- Must be currently based in Qatar with a valid QID
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of local suppliers and international sourcing
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food production, F&B or hospitality sector
- Knowledge of Qatar customs regulations and logistics processes
