A leading organization is seeking a Global Head of Sustainability to design, build, and execute a world-class sustainability framework for its expanding multi-country data center portfolio. This role will be pivotal in driving ESG strategy, regulatory compliance, and renewable energy adoption to ensure alignment with the hyperscaler ecosystem.
The Role
Develop and implement a global sustainability strategy that meets hyperscaler demands and international ESG requirements.
Lead regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with evolving frameworks-including EU-mandated reductions in energy use, water consumption, and carbon output (targeting 20-30% reductions).
Oversee sustainability initiatives across 14+ countries, navigating complex regulatory landscapes while ensuring transparency and standardization.
Drive renewable energy adoption and integrate cutting-edge sustainable technologies into the data center lifecycle.
Establish and strengthen relationships with key vendors across the global supply chain.
Lead end-to-end sustainability strategy, covering design, construction, procurement, operations, and long-term impact.
Advise executive leadership on best practices, ensuring that sustainability remains a core pillar of global expansion.
The Ideal Candidate
A seasoned executive with extensive experience in sustainability leadership within data centers, real estate, energy, or infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of ESG frameworks, regulatory compliance, and renewable energy adoption at a global scale.
A strategic, forward-thinking leader who can operate at the highest levels of business and policy.
Proven success in building and executing sustainability frameworks in complex, multi-country environments.
Strong relationships with top-tier sustainability vendors, energy providers, and regulatory bodies.
Ability to relocate to Dubai and lead global teams across multiple regions.
