Estimator – Fitout Jobs in Dubai, UAE/Dubai at Careers International
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation and quantity surveying for residential villas and commercial fit-out projects
. The role requires excellent analytical skills, precision, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Immediate joiners will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities 1. Estimation & Costing
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and budgets for interior fit-out projects.
- Analyse drawings, project specifications, and related documents to determine costs.
- Review tender documents and ensure all items are covered in the pricing.
2. Quantity Surveying
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings and site requirements.
- Conduct material take-offs and site measurements.
- Evaluate and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims.
3. Tendering & Procurement
- Request and analyse quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare tender submissions with supporting cost breakdowns.
- Assist in procurement and negotiation with suppliers and contractors.
4. Project Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure alignment of cost and design.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide cost comparisons and value engineering solutions to ensure cost-effectiveness.
5. Reporting
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports.
- Maintain documentation for all cost and project activities.
- Highlight cost variations and prepare reports on project profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in fit‑out estimation and quantity surveying
. - Strong knowledge of villa and commercial project fit‑outs
. - Familiarity with local UAE market rates, suppliers, and fit‑out processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity take‑off software.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Immediate joiner preferred.
