Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Estimator – Aluminum & Façade to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and managing the tendering process for a variety of façade and aluminum system projects, including curtain walls, cladding, glazing, doors, and windows.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of the Saudi construction market, including material pricing, supplier networks, and local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) specific to aluminum and façade systems.
- Break down project costs including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors in the KSA market.
- Perform value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality or compliance.
- Assist in preparation of tender submissions, pricing strategies, and commercial proposals.
- Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings, providing technical and commercial input.
- Coordinate with design and project teams to ensure cost alignment with project scope and execution feasibility.
- Monitor and evaluate cost impacts due to design changes and project variations.
- Maintain updated cost databases, supplier lists, and market pricing benchmarks relevant to Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in aluminum and façade estimation, preferably within Saudi Arabia or GCC.
- Software Skills:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Estimation tools such as Candy, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of:
- Curtain wall systems (stick & unitized)
- Cladding systems (ACP, stone, etc.)
- Glazing systems
- Aluminum doors & windows
- Ability to interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with Saudi standards, project specifications, and approval processes is an advantage.
