We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer – Home Automation to join our Doha team and support the growth of our Smart Automation Solutions division.
Role Overview
The Estimation Engineer – Home Automation will be responsible for preparing accurate technical and commercial estimates for home automation, ELV, and smart automation systems. You will review project requirements, prepare BOQs, and support the sales team throughout the tendering and proposal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for home automation and ELV systems
- Carry out quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs for smart home, lighting control, home cinema, networking, and ELV solutions
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing on automation products and equipment
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project scope
- Support the sales and technical teams during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-effective alternatives for automation systems
- Maintain an updated database of product pricing, vendor quotations, and labor rates
- Coordinate with project and design teams to validate estimates against project specifications
- Track tender submissions, follow-ups, and win/loss analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of estimation experience in home automation, ELV, or smart automation systems
- Strong knowledge of home automation, lighting control, networking, and ELV products and systems
- Proficiency in estimating tools and MS Excel
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/ELV drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and tenders within tight deadlines
- Qatar market experience preferred

Pay: QAR5,000.00 – QAR7,000.00 per month
