We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Employment Verification Specialist to join our Background Screening team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting employers and organizations to verify candidates’ employment history and obtaining accurate information in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct employment verification calls to current and previous employers.
- Verify information such as job title, employment dates, designation, and reason for leaving (where permissible).
- Maintain accurate records of all verification activities and supporting documents.
- Follow up with employers for pending responses and additional information.
- Ensure all verifications are completed within agreed timelines and service levels.
- Escalate discrepancies or adverse findings to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with HR departments and company representatives worldwide.
