Job Title: Elevator Technician
Department: Maintenance / Operations
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor or Operations Manager
Job Purpose
To install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation in compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install elevator and escalator systems according to technical drawings and manufacturer instructions.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe and continuous operation.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Test control systems and safety devices to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
- Replace faulty or worn-out components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Document maintenance and repair work and submit regular reports.
- Follow strict safety procedures while working in buildings, shafts, and machine rooms.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and service requests.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience in elevator installation or maintenance (preferably 2+ years).
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Pay: ﷼2,000.00 – ﷼3,000.00 per month
