Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Installation:
Install, replace, and upgrade electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Install and configure electrical control panels and automation systems.
Install and maintain emergency lighting systems.
Electrical Repair and Maintenance:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including wiring, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Replace faulty electrical components and wiring.
Code Compliance:
Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections of electrical equipment.
Use appropriate safety gear and equipment.
Energy Efficiency:
Identify and implement energy-saving measures in electrical systems.
Optimize lighting systems for energy efficiency.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Valid electrician’s license or certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
