Full job description
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Set up and connect conduits, circuit breakers, distribution boards, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all installations comply with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Identify the root cause of electrical malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on electrical systems, motors, generators, transformers, and control panels.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and prevent equipment failures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inspection reports.
- Recommend improvements to increase system efficiency and reliability.
- Repair or replace defective wiring, electrical components, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards.
- Verify system functionality after repairs through testing and inspection.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using electrical hand tools and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
