We are hiring an expert and experienced Electrical Power Engineer (ALL Nationalities can apply)
Must have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Support international BESS installation and commissioning, including electrical work, system checks, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support BESS and microgrid installation and commissioning activities at international customer project sites.
- Perform AC/DC cable installation and termination, earthing, control wiring, and communication connections according to approved drawings.
- Carry out continuity, insulation-resistance, voltage, polarity, and other electrical checks using approved testing instruments.
- Assist engineers during system start-up, functional testing, parameter verification, troubleshooting, and site acceptance testing.
- Identify installation defects and electrical or communication issues and support corrective actions under the engineer’s supervision.
- Maintain tools, testing equipment, work records, checklists, and commissioning documentation.
- Follow approved risk assessments, method statements, PPE requirements, and safe energization and isolation procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Technical diploma or Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical work, BESS, solar, UPS, PCS/inverters, or site commissioning.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and perform AC/DC cabling, termination, earthing, control wiring, and communication wiring.
- Ability to use multimeters, insulation-resistance testers, megger meter, continuity testers, and other standard electrical testing instruments.
Other Requirements
Must be willing and able to travel internationally, including extended overseas site assignments when required for Commissioning.
Lob Location: Dubai (DIC) or Abu Dhabi (ICAD)
Working days: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (Saturday & Sunday Off)
Salary: 3000AED – 4,000AED + Accommodation +Transportation + Visa + Insurance + Lunch
