Job Summary: The Welder performs welding operations for the fabrication and assembly of steel structures and components for prefabricated building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding of steel structures and components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
- Operate welding equipment and tools
- Ensure quality and compliance with welding standards
- Perform routine maintenance of welding equipment
- Follow safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain welding tools and equipment
Qualifications:
- Trade certificate or diploma in Welding
- Valid welding certification (AWS, CSWIP, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in welding in construction
- Knowledge of welding techniques and safety
- Good communication skills
