Job Description – Electrical Engineer
Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Salary: AED 4,500 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and project execution while ensuring compliance with UAE standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at project sites.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
- Prepare progress reports, material requests, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of completed electrical systems.
- Follow all company HSE policies and UAE electrical regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or MEP projects.
- Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and testing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and engineering practices.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference. Electrical engineering roles in the UAE commonly require knowledge of local authority standards and construction/site coordination.
