The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing Electrical Substation SCADA systems and components.
They should have a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to create detailed electrical designs and schematics.
The Electrical Design Engineer must also stay updated on the latest industry standards and regulations.
Should have excellent knowledge of Substation Automation Panel Design and Manufacturing for different Utilities.
Knowledge of reading the following Drawing and documents.
Preparation of single line diagram
Panel Engineering include GA & Wiring drawing Preparation.
Preparation of I/O List asper the utility Specification.
Preparation of Switch Gear/ Control Panel Adaptation Drawing.
Preparation of Cabling Connection Schedule
Preparation of Various documents like BOM, Packing List, Cost sheet
Hardware Knowledge of PLC, DCS, RTU
Should have sound knowledge of Substation automation protocols and communication systems
Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems and components.
Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and Draft prints.
Conduct technical reviews and evaluations of electrical designs with the project teammate.
Collaborate with panel manufacturing teams to integrate SCADA components.
Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Document and maintain design files and specifications in the Office project Server.
Co-ordinate with the Document controller and to ensure that the proper documents submitted to Main contractor
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the relevant Field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or a similar role.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
