We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax filing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and inventory reconciliation.
- Experience in daily sales reconciliation and transaction matching for multi branches .
- Ability to prepare monthly financial reports.
- Previous experience in the retail or trading industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Reconcile daily sales from retail stores, online channels, and POS systems.
- Verify and reconcile cash, card, bank, and online payment transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Monitor, reconcile, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct inventory reconciliations and assist with stock counts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between POS, payment gateways, bank deposits, and accounting records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare and maintain VAT documentation and ensure timely tax filing.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE financial regulations.
