Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our MEP Design & Engineering team. The candidate must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with strong knowledge of electrical systems in building construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update accurate 3D models and detailed drawings of electrical systems (lighting, power, containment, ELV, etc.) using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Ensure models comply with project specifications, industry standards, and BIM execution plans.
- Coordinate with other trades (mechanical, architectural, structural) to identify and resolve clashes.
- Generate detailed shop drawings, sections, and layouts from the BIM models.
- Support the engineering team with quantity take-offs and design adjustments as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all models and drawings.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP BIM modeling.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in building services.
- Experience with BIM coordination tools like Navisworks is a plus.
- Ability to interpret electrical design drawings and technical specifications.
Preferred:
- Experience working on GCC-based projects.
- Availability to join immediately or on short notice.
