- Overview
- Provide engineering support for Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear
- projects, focusing on preparing, modifying, and managing electrical drawings using
- AutoCAD, as well as maintaining and controlling all project-related documents. The role
- ensures accurate drafting, proper version control, and timely distribution of technical and
- administrative documents in accordance with project requirements and company
- standards.Responsibilities
- Electrical AutoCAD Drafting:
- Prepare and update electrical drawings such as:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD),Wiring diagrams, Schematic & control diagrams, Panel layouts
- and termination drawings.
- Revise drawings based on engineer/client comments and site changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
- Maintain proper drawing register with revision status.
- Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
Document Control
- Maintain and manage all technical documents including: Drawings, method statements,
- procedures.
- Implement and follow document control procedures and numbering systems.
- Register incoming and outgoing documents.
- Ensure proper version and revision control of all project documents.
- Distribute approved documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Track document submission status (submitted, approved, commented).
- Archive project documentation in an organized and retrievable manner.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/EPLAN, knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and drawings interpretation.
- Familiarity with document control systems.
- Strong understanding of revision control and document workflows.
Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
