Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Company Driver to join our team based in SAIF Zone, Sharjah. The primary responsibility is to provide safe and timely transportation for employees, including daily pick-up and drop-off services, as well as transportation for official business during working hours. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of roads across Sharjah and Dubai, maintain company vehicles in good condition, and represent the company with professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees to and from designated pick-up and drop-off locations according to the daily schedule.
- Drive employees for official company business, including visits to clients, suppliers, government departments, banks, and other business-related destinations.
- Plan efficient travel routes by monitoring traffic conditions and selecting the safest and fastest routes.
- Ensure company vehicles are always clean, fueled, and maintained in excellent working condition.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or repair requirements.
- Coordinate routine servicing, vehicle registration, insurance renewals, Salik, and other vehicle-related documentation.
- Assist with the delivery or collection of company documents, parcels, and other official items when required.
- Follow all UAE traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality while representing the company.
- Support general transportation requirements as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience in the UAE.
- Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of Sharjah and Dubai road networks, business districts, industrial areas, and major landmarks.
- Familiarity with navigation applications such as Google Maps and Waze.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic or other languages is an advantage).
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading light packages or documents when required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when business needs require.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience as a company or corporate driver.
- Good understanding of vehicle servicing schedules and preventive maintenance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
