HSE Officer – Steel Structure Industry | Saudi Arabia
LITCO Group is seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to join our team for steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with project and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, company policies, and Saudi safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Monitor steel fabrication, erection, lifting, rigging, welding, cutting, grinding, and work-at-height activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for site personnel.
- Review and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Carry out risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to site safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and consultants on all HSE matters.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, safety statistics, and documentation.
- Participate in safety meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure subcontractors comply with project safety standards and contractual HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory).
- OSHA / IOSH Certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of HSE experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Must have experience in steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation projects.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, construction safety standards, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Familiarity with lifting operations, work at height, welding and cutting activities, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operations.
- Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid, Fire Safety, or Defensive Driving certifications are an advantage.
Pay: ﷼5,000.00 – ﷼7,500.00 per month
