We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with 3–5 years of professional experience, specifically in factory-based joinery and carpentry works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings, detailed layouts, and technical documentation for production, fabrication, and installation processes. Familiarity with manufacturing workflows and materials commonly used in carpentry and joinery is essential.
what you will do?
Prepare accurate shop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly details based on project requirements, architectural plans, and site conditions.
Convert architectural and design intent drawings into detailed fabrication drawings for joinery and carpentry items such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall claddings, counters, etc.
Ensure all drawings conform to production and factory capabilities, standards, and project specifications.
Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, factory supervisors, and CNC operators to ensure smooth execution of drawings.
Revise drawings as required to reflect design changes, site measurements, or feedback from the production team.
Maintain up-to-date records of drawings and revisions using drawing control procedures.
Coordinate with procurement and estimation departments to provide material take-offs and ensure drawings align with available resources.
Ensure all technical outputs meet quality control standards and deadlines.
what you will need?
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of drafting experience in joinery/carpentry, preferably within a manufacturing or factory setting.
Solid understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and hardware.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce highly accurate and clean technical drawings.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior design, and MEP drawings.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
