The Sales Director – Online Automotive will be responsible for leading our sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, building a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth in the online automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the online automotive market
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
Recruit and build a strong sales team, ensuring it is well-equipped to meet and exceed sales targets
Oversee client acquisition efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding our customer base
Set ambitious revenue targets, monitor progress, and take proactive steps to achieve and exceed sales goals within the automotive sector
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the online automotive sector to drive informed decision-making
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales team and make data-driven improvements
Develop and manage sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the online automotive market with the Marketing Department
Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategies
Develop and manage budgets for the sales department, tracking and reporting on financial performance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
7+ years of experience in senior sales roles, with a strong preference for candidates with a proven track record in the automotive industry
Extensive experience in sales leadership, client acquisition, managing teams, and exceeding revenue targets in the online automotive sector
Comprehensive knowledge of online automotive market dynamics and industry trends is a plus
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills
Proven ability to build, develop, and manage high-performing sales teams
Proficiency in data analysis, sales forecasting, and budget management
