Position: Digital and Process Excellences (Logistics)– experience in Logistics

Role Overview

The Business Analyst – Freight Logistics will play a critical role in driving digital transformation and operational excellence across the freight logistics business unit. Reporting to the Manager – Digital and Process Excellence, the role focuses on delivering end-to-end process optimization, ERP implementation, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end process reviews, including AS-IS analysis and TO-BE design, to improve efficiency and standardize operations.

Drive ERP implementation projects (preferably Oracle), ensuring alignment with business requirements and delivering value across logistics functions.

Prepare and manage Business Requirements Specifications (BRS), conduct system evaluations, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT).

Manage process excellence initiatives with clear KPIs and deliverables, ensuring measurable improvements.

Develop and implement dashboards and reporting systems using Power BI and/or Oracle BI to track performance metrics.

Monitor critical KPIs and project milestones, identify risks and issues, and escalate as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/consultants to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education &

Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline

Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher)

Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent)

Professional Experience

Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics, maritime, or freight forwarding, with a focus on business process improvement

Strong experience in ERP systems (preferably Oracle) from implementation and/or operational perspectives

Demonstrated experience in project governance, stakeholder management, and performance tracking

Experience in container management, feeder operations, or NVOCC is highly desirable

Prior exposure to consulting or cross-functional transformation initiatives is an asset

Middle East regional experience is a plus

Skills & Competencies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Power BI, Oracle BI, and other reporting tools

Strong communication and documentation abilities with the capability to convey technical content clearly

Effective at influencing stakeholders and collaborating across business functions

Organized, results-oriented, and proactive in managing competing priorities

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment

Fluent in English;
Arabic is an advantage

Participate in incident reporting and corrective action planning

Exercise the authority to stop work if unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified
