We are hiring a DevSecOps Migration & Modernization Specialist to join one of the Big 4 on a project in Riyadh.
Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Specialist to work on the migration of repositories from an existing on-premises GitLab environment to a newly established GitLab SaaS platform while modernizing and standardizing DevSecOps practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Migrate GitLab repositories, branches, tags, and associated configurations to GitLab SaaS.
- Assess, remediate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure successful operation in the target environment.
- Modernize and standardize repository structures, branching strategies, CI/CD templates, and DevSecOps practices across teams.
- Integrate security controls into the software delivery lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, and compliance checks.
- Implement and optimize automated build, test, deployment, and security pipelines.
- Resolve migration, integration, access management, and tooling issues.
- Establish reusable DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and governance models.
- Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-migration support.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with GitLab administration, GitLab SaaS migrations, and CI/CD engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in DevSecOps, pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience implementing security scanning, compliance controls, and secure software development practices.
- Strong knowledge of Git, containers, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Proven track record delivering repository migrations and DevSecOps transformations in enterprise environments
- Language: Arabic & English
Terms:
- 6-month extendable contract
- 100% onsite – Riyadh
- Candidates must already be based in KSA with valid residency/iqama
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay: ﷼14,000.00 – ﷼25,000.00 per month
