Duties and Responsibilities
Development Support:
Understand and analyze project specifications, BOQs, product selection, estimations, and technical details.
Develop detailed design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software.
Conduct lux calculations on relevant software and ensure results meet standards and client requirements.
Prepare wiring diagrams, execution drawings, and installation details with necessary technical information.
Create lighting layouts, generate BOQs from various designs, and maintain proper layouts as per brand requirements.
Maintain a proper library of blocks, installation details, and specifications.
Prepare luminaire and electrical schedules.
Create detailed renders for nighttime effects and various lighting scenarios as required.
Coordinate with the Development and Sales departments for BOQ and design.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Lighting Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the lighting industry.
Software Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
Proficiency in Dialux or Dialux EVO for lighting calculations.
Experience with BIM platforms such as Revit.
Rendering expertise using tools like Sketch Up with V-Ray, 3ds Max, and Lumion.
Skills:
Solid understanding of lighting principles, fixture specifications, and application.
Ability to produce accurate, high-quality designs and documentation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
