Design Specialist – Ultra Fast, Supply Chain and Launches

Are you excited about designing the next generation of Amazon FCs in the region? Do you want to contribute to the ongoing expansion and optimization of Amazon’s ultra-fast fulfillment network? Amazon is seeking a skilled candidate with a strong execution record and proven experience in warehouse layout design. The candidate will develop optimized, high-efficiency site designs, scope, and create layout blueprints, collaborating with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to ensure layouts align with business needs while optimizing space utilization and operational efficiency.
Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, and proficiency in CAD tools are essential for success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
Expertise in AutoCAD, REVIT, or other CAD programs to design layouts.
Work with key stakeholders to define criteria for design and expansion.
Review and approve layout plans, ensuring alignment with business needs, space utilization targets, and CBM optimization.
Review existing designs to identify value engineering opportunities and optimization.
Align cross-functional teams on design standards, best practices, and implementation guidelines for consistent layout execution.
Communicate, present, and write technical documents/drawings effectively.
Travel up to 25% of the time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background.
Expertise in AutoCAD, REVIT, or other CAD programs.
Ability to handle ambiguity, conduct data analysis, and possess analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience designing dark stores or grocery shops.
Previous experience related to warehouse optimization.
