Design Engineer Jobs in الخبر at Broad Development Contracting Company
Key Responsibilities
- Design and calculation of steel structure works, PEB, Car parking shade, Concrete foundation slab, and miscellaneous structural steel works.
- Prepare structural steel design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and client requirements before design execution.
- Perform structural analysis and ensure designs comply with international standards and project specifications.
- Design as per SBC, LRFD, ASD, ASCE & AIJC
- Optimize steel designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and ease of installation.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Respond to technical queries (RFIs) from clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Support the estimation team by providing technical inputs during the bidding stage.
- Coordinate design revisions and maintain proper document control.
- Participate in project meetings and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables are completed within project schedules.
- Identify design improvements and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Develop fabrication and erection drawings using AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or other relevant design software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–10 years of experience in structural steel design and detailing.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
