Estimator – Villa Renovation & Fit-Out
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our renovation and fit-out team in Dubai.
The main responsibility of this role is to visit prospective clients at their villas, understand the renovation work required, carry out a detailed site survey and prepare accurate estimates and quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit clients’ villas and conduct detailed site surveys.
- Meet with clients to understand their renovation requirements and proposed scope of work.
- Take measurements, photographs and detailed site notes.
- Prepare clear and accurate estimates, BOQs and client quotations.
- Calculate labour, material and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor prices where required.
- Identify all works required during the site visit to minimise missed items and variations.
- Prepare quotations for villa renovations including civil works, tiling, painting, ceilings, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, joinery and other fit-out works.
- Revise estimates and quotations following client changes.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations and project costing.
- Coordinate with the operations/site team once a project is awarded.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in estimating/quantity surveying within villa renovation, interior fit-out or construction.
- Good knowledge of renovation materials, labour requirements and construction methods.
- Ability to read drawings and prepare quantities and BOQs.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Confident and professional when dealing directly with clients.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify works required during a site inspection.
- Knowledge of current UAE construction and renovation costs is highly desirable.
- UAE experience is strongly preferred.
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,500.00 per month
