Purpose of the Position:
We are seeking a Demand Planner with strong analytical skills and high accuracy to become part of the planning and inventory control team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing demand forecasts and sales, contributing to the development of effective plans that support decision-making and improve operational performance.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze data and reports related to sales and demand.
- Develop statistical forecasting models using Excel or other analytical tools.
- Create and review statistical forecasts and ensure their alignment with operational realities.
- Participate in the preparation and review of sales plans and provide necessary recommendations.
- Measure forecast accuracy and analyze gaps and work on improving them.
- Analyze previous sales trends and identify demand drivers.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and purchasing departments to understand market needs.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes through the preparation of regular reports.
- Contribute to the development of inventory strategies and management of existing and new products.
